Work Permits

Who should apply for a Work Permit?

Students ages 14 to 17 are required to have a work permit in order to obtain employment in the state of Pennsylvania. Schools are the primary agency that supplies work permits to students.

Work Permit Process

To obtain a work permit, a student must provide a valid proof of age and an application. You may print out the application below, or they are available to be picked up in CV9's front office.  Email the completed application and proof of age to Email Work Permits or CV9 students can bring the completed paperwork to the Main Office to receive the work permit.  Once paper work has been received the work permit will be mailed to the address provided or can be picked up at the CV9 main office.

Acceptable proof of age includes:

  • Birth certificate

  • Military ID

  • Passport/Passport card

  • Baptismal Certificate

  • Driver's License/Learner's Permit
