Mr. Jeffrey Hosenfeld

Mr. Hosenfeld has been a member of the Cumberland Valley administrative team since 2008, where he served as an Assistant Principal at CVHS for 6 years and Principal of Good Hope/Mountain View Middle School for 11 years. He holds a bachelor's degree in English (7-12) from Ithaca College, a master's degree in English Education from SUNY Geneseo, and a C.A.G.S. in Educational Administration from UMASS Boston.

Originally from Rochester, NY, Mr. Hosenfeld began teaching high school English in 1994, where he also directed the school musicals. In 2000, he relocated to Boston to continue teaching and directing shows before becoming an Assistant Principal at Stoughton High School. His family relocated to Central PA in 2008.

Mr. Hosenfeld lives in Hershey with his wife and three children, and enjoys music, theatre, camping, board games, and spending time with his family.

Ms. Nichole Nye

Ms. Nichole Nye joined the CV Administration team in 2024 as the Assistant Principal at CV9. Prior to this role, she served as Dean of Students for two years at Mountain View Middle School, where she also taught for five years.

Ms. Nye holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Bloomsburg University. She earned her master's degree in Educational Leadership and obtained her Administration Certification from Shippensburg University.

In addition to her administrative role, Ms. Nye is the handler and owner of CV9’s Facility Dog, Dandelion, who works through Phoenix Assistance Dogs of Central PA. Dandy brings comfort and support to both students and staff—whether it’s a friendly hello, a warm hug, or simply being nearby when needed. Ms. Nye values the opportunity to work with Dandelion each day and deeply appreciates the positive impact he has on the CV9 community.

Outside of school, Ms. Nye enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs, often going for walks or playing outdoors. She also cherishes time with family and friends, making the most of moments with those who matter most. Ms. Nye has a true passion for supporting and helping others, and she feels there is no better place to do so than at CV9, working alongside its students, staff, and community.
